Skaldowie Christmas Concert "My Bethlehem" in St. John's Cathedral

Skaldowie, a Cracow (Kraków) rock group, formed in 1965 by Andrzej Zieliński, was particularly popular from 1960s to the 1980s. With their musical education and proximity of the folklore-rich Podhale area, many of their songs were a fusion of rock, folk and classical music. Many of the compositions includes references to the Podhale and High Tatra mountains region. Also some of the Christmas songs take motives from the tradion of the region, in style, text and rythm.
